Akropolis:波卡首個DeFi專案,主打非正式金融協議

近日,火幣全球站宣佈,Huobi Prime第四期專案Akropolis (AKRO)將於7月16日20:00上線,作為Polkadot波卡鏈上首個DeFi專案備受業界關注。

7月15日上午11點,Akropolis 創始人兼 CEO Ana Andria做客博鏈財經《明日星勢力》第25期VIP社群訪談。

以下為本期訪談實錄(英文為嘉賓原話,中文為工作人員翻譯)

博鏈財經:可否用通俗易懂的語言說一說,Akropolis在區塊鏈世界裡解決了或者想要解決什麼問題?

Ana Andria:Developing Akropolis, we want to solve several problems that now exist in the blockchain industry.

First of all, it is problem of DAO governance models and interactions protocols between them. As DAO is a promising form of a future organizations, we think that it is very important to focus on this in our project, which is trying to solve problems of community-based economy.

Besides this, we develop several core services for the Polkadot ecosystem that will solve problems of names in Polkadot (Polka Names) and simplify development on top of the Polkadot for devs (Polka Hub).

發起Akropolis專案主要是想解決目前區塊鏈行業存在的幾個問題:

首先是解決DAO(Distributed Autonomous Organization)治理模型和各個DAO之間的互動問題。DAO在未來將是一種很有前景的組織形式,它可以幫助我們解決社羣經濟基礎的問題。

此外,我們為Polkadot波卡鏈生態系統開發了多個核心業務,這些業務將解決波卡鏈中的命名問題(Polka Names),並讓開發者能更輕鬆的在波卡上進行開發(Polka Hub)。

博鏈財經:Akropolis大概是什麼開始籌劃的,過去都做出了哪些成績,有哪些值得分享的Milestone?

Ana Andria:Akropolis was started in early 2018. Since those time we have been doing deep economic, product and technical research on informal economy, won a 0x Coinlist hackathon with our dApp CashFlowrelay.com, that is a brand new crypto-financial primitive (Commitments to future Cashflows).

Recently, we launched the Governance module of our product on tesntnet - you can try it yourself.

Furthermore, we are building the Akropolis Chain on Polkadot (we have allocated more than 800 hours to this since February), and we are developing Polkahub, a service to improve the ecosystem adoption.

In addition, we are validators in both ChainX and Polkadot.

Akropolis成立於2018年初,從那時起,我們一直在對非主流經濟(informal economy)進行深入的經濟、產品和技術研究,並憑藉我們去中心化應用(DApp)“CashFlowrelay”贏得了一場0x舉辦的hackathon,(Cashflowrelay)是一個全新的加密經濟原語(即對未來現金流的承諾)。

博鏈財經:Akropolis專案的核心亮點都有哪些?

Ana Andria:The key features and highlights of Akropolis:

1) We are focused on building services interacting first of all with communities, not with individual "isolated" users

2) We are targeting huge informal economy market and use historically-proven models from it to give users new experience based on their already established habits and principles of cooperation

3) We are focused on building our service on top of tthe most promising blockchain tech up to date - Polkadot; and we are one of first team started to do it

4) One of core parts of our product is the brand new crypto-financial primitive - Commitments to future cashflows (C2FC), now available at Cashflowrelay.com

5) We working on onboarding users from already existing cooperatives/mutuals/savings group and give them similar, but fully-digital and secure service instead of trying to find customers inside blockchain community

Akropolis特點如下:

5)我們將努力從現有的合作公社/互助組織/儲蓄機構中拓寬使用者群,為他們提供相似的、安全的、完全數字化的服務,而非從區塊鏈社羣中尋找客戶。

博鏈財經:Akropolis的核心團隊構成情況如何?為什麼你們能把這個專案做成功?

Ana Andria:In Akropolis we have three top-level positions:

CEO&co-founder (Anastasia Adrianova),

COO&co-founder (Ekaterina Kurbanova) and CTO Alex Maz. Each of them is high-level professional with relevant experience.

Besides this, we have several backend/frontend developers, product owner, designer, researcher and community management team.

I think, that main reason that makes Akropolis success is that we are focused on real demand of billions people and use historically-proven social and economic models coupled with top-level technology stack.

The real success of any product can be measured by its sales (in IT/blockchain user base of a project can be used as indicator).

To achieve good sales, any project needs to solve real problem and do it better than othes in this field and be able to promote this solution.

Based on results of our own researh we think that best field to apply blockchain technology to real economy today (and not tomorrow or in five years) is informal, community-based economy.

So, I think that key point to Akropolis success is focusing on right target market coupled with proper tech stack and user aquisition strategy.

在Akropolis中,我們有三個高層:

在我看來,Akropolis成功的主要原因是,我們專注於數十億人的實際需求,並使用經過歷史證明的社會和經濟模型與頂級的技術。

任何產品是否是真正意義上的“成功”,都可以透過其銷量來衡量(在IT/區塊鏈領域可以使用者基數作為指標)。

想要取得好的銷量,任何專案都要能解決實際問題,並且相比其他人做的更好,還得將解決方案推廣出去。

根據我們的研究結果,我們認為目前(而非未來或五年內)將區塊鏈技術應用於實體經濟,最合適的領域是以非主流經濟和社羣為基礎的市場。

所以,我認為Akropolis成功的關鍵在:專注於正確的目標市場,並結合適當的技術堆疊與使用者吸引策略。

博鏈財經:Akropolis的Token代幣經濟模型是如何設計的?Akropolis代幣最核心的價值體現在哪裡?

Ana Andria:The AKRO token has two main functions: staking and right to participation in governance.

Staking works as follows: any token holder can place a token stake in favor of any Guild/AFO.

We named it the Community Trust model. The amount of stakes indicates the trust in relation to the borrower and also acts as skin in the game.

In case of correct debt repayment, token holders are rewarded for their risk in form of the stability fee. The stability fee the is calculated as part of interest rate of a loan.

In case of default on debt, token stake is penalized. Value of stability fee and penalty fee is managed by community and determined by voting (similar to the MakerDAO).

The value, captured by AKRO token is connected to it usage in community trust model (staking).

AKRO 代幣主要有兩大功能:質押(Staking)和參與治理的權利。

質押的工作原理如下:任何代幣持有者都可以將代幣質押在Guild/AFO處。

我們將其命名為“社羣信任模型”(Community Trust model)。質押數量的大小代表著(質押者)與借款人間的信任程度,(質押數量)同時也是經濟博弈的外在表現。

如果賬務償還處於正常情況下,代幣持有者會因其承受了風險而獲得穩定費用的獎勵,穩定費用是作為貸款利率的一部分來進行計算的。

如果發生債務違約,代幣質押者將會受到懲罰。穩定費用和違約罰金由社羣管理並投票決定(類似於MakerDAO)。

AKRO代幣的價值所錨定的是其在社羣信任模型中的應用(即質押)。

博鏈財經:DeFi作為區塊鏈+金融領域的風口,在你們看來,其最大的創新是什麼?

Ana Andria:The biggest innovation of DeFi is that it eliminates borders.

Here I mean:

1) borders to participate in the modern economy

2) borders between different financial sevices.

Now, DeFi apps can be uses by anyone regardless their geographic position and moreover with completely interoperability between services.

It is amazing, that AFO in Akropolis network can supply money in Compound, buy mutual virtual real estate (LAND in Decentraland) and seamlessly use it as a collateral or participate in cashflow financing of other AFOs using cashflowrelay.com

去中心化金融最大的創新是其消滅了“邊界”,即:1)參與現代經濟(如銀行、股票)的邊界;2)不同金融服務之間的邊界;

如今,不論使用者位於何處,他都能使用去中心化金融應用程式(De-Fi Dapps),且(去中心化金融)服務之間具備完全互操作性。

有趣的是,Akropolis網路中的AFO既可以在Compound中提供資金,也能購買虛擬房產(如Decentraland中的LAND)並將其進行抵押,還能在Cashflowrelay.com中參與其他AFO的Cashflow(現金流)金融融資。(這便是金融服務的互操作性)

博鏈財經:作為Polkadot波卡鏈上的第一個DeFi專案,對於Akropolis來說,參與DeFi有哪些利和弊

Ana Andria:By my opinion, pros of building on top of Polkadot are as follows:

1) Interoperability - our users would be able to use digital assets and financial services from all integrated blockchains

2) Scalability and decreased costs - we are building Akro Chain in Polkadot ecosystem that would allow to decrease transactional costs for our users. The high cost of transactions in Ethereum is well-known problem, so we decided to solve it using our own chain. Besides cost, our own chain will allow our service to scale: if we talking about real adoption, we need to be able to serve millions users.

Cons of building on top of Polkadot are as follows:

1) It is not released yet, so if mainnet launch date would be shifted, date of our launch in Polkadot ecosystem would be shifted as well

2) Security risks: any new tech potentially can have some vulnerabilities or possibilities to be hacked. But, Polkadot is managed by team of great professionals, so we believe that this "cons" would never affect Polkadot and Akropolis.

在我看來,建立在波卡Polkadot上的優勢有:

1)互操作性——我們的使用者可以使用所有波卡Polkadot已整合的區塊鏈的數字資產與金融服務;

2)可擴充套件性與低成本——我們正在波卡生態系統中構建AKRO鏈,這將降低使用者的交易成本。以太坊的高昂交易費用問題已眾所周知,所以我們決定使用自己的鏈來解決這個問題。除了成本外,我們的鏈也將允許拓展更多的業務:如果我們要探討(如何成為)真正的“應用”,那麼服務數百萬使用者的能力是必須的。

當然,建立在波卡上也存在如下問題:

1)波卡還未正式釋出,如果主網上線時間發生變化,我們在波卡生態系統中釋出Akropolis的時間也會變化;

2)安全風險:所有具有潛力的新技術或多或少會有一些漏洞,因此有被駭客入侵的風險。但波卡是由專業團隊所管理的專案,我們相信這種“漏洞”絕不會影響到波卡和Akropolis。

博鏈財經:看到Akropolis的合作伙伴有MakerDAO,Akropolis跟穩定幣的合作模式主要有哪些?

Ana Andria:We cooperate with stablecoins to provide possibility to save and invest money in stable currency regardless geographic positions and local currency of our users.

We plan to cooperate with more stablecoins, but only with reliable and trusted ones as we don't want to exposure our users to legal and financial risks.

我們與穩定幣合作,來提供穩定貨幣儲存和投資的可能性,不論我們使用者處在何處,也不論當地貨幣情況如何。

我們計劃和更多的穩定幣進行合作,但也只會和可靠且可信的夥伴合作,因為我們不希望讓使用者存在法律和財務上的風險。

博鏈財經:當前,Akropolis面臨最大的挑戰是什麼?如何應對?

Ana Andria:I think, that biggest challenge for Akropolis now is user aquisition and migration into Polkadot ecosystem.

It is well known, that user aquisition for decentralized apps is complex problem. We are working on it right now by collaboration with cooperatives, mutual networks and informal savings groups in developing and developed countries to onboad them to Akropolis network in a short time.

Other challenge is our migration into Polkadot ecosystem - we have to develop a lot of stuff in close collaboration with Polkadot team.

It is not easy taking in account that Polkadot is not launched yet and there are a lot of tech changes and things to do.

Nevertheless, I think that we will address both challenges well and release valuable product that will be adopted by end users.

我認為目前Akropolis面臨最大的問題,一是吸引使用者,二是遷移到波卡生態系統。

眾所周知,去中心化應用(Dapps)如何吸引使用者是一個相當複雜的問題,我們正在與發達國家和發展中國家的合作公社、多方合作網路以及非正式儲蓄機構合作,以便他們可以迅速的參與到Akropolis網路。

另一個問題是關於遷移到波卡生態系統的——我們必須與波卡團隊密切合作以開發大量(必要的)資源。

考慮到波卡目前還未正式釋出,許多技術(也許會)有所變化,許多工作還得做,(遷移到波卡)這並不是個簡單的事情。

儘管如此,我認為我們還是很好的解決了這兩個問題,我們也將釋出一個對所有終端使用者都有價值的產品。

博鏈財經:區塊鏈應用落地是非常熱門的話題,Akropolis相關應用的推進以及落地情況如何,有哪些案例和資料可以分享?

Ana Andria:Answering this question I can share case study devoted to African informal economy.

Economy of significant share of African countries is based on informal savings group. Kenya is most studied country, so we based our calculations on publicly available statistics regarding Kenyan market.

There is 300,000 groups (Chamas) officially there (and 900,000 not officially) holding $3.5 bln in assets. The number of customers on this market is more than 10 mln (conservative assessment ). Acquisition of minor part of these users, for example 5% would give Akropolis user base of 1 million and $3.5 mln in revenue.

我非常願意分享一個非洲非正規經濟的案例研究。

非洲國家很大一部分經濟以非正規儲蓄集團為基礎。肯亞是研究最多的國家,因此我們根據有關肯亞市場的公開統計資料進行計算。

正式有300,000個團體(Chamas)(以及900,000個未正式)持有30億美元的資產。該市場的客戶數量超過1000萬(保守評估)。

轉化這些使用者中的一小部分,例如5%,將使Akropolis的使用者群達到100萬和350萬美元的收入。

博鏈財經:Akropolis似乎之前沒有在中國市場做太多曝光,這次為什麼要選擇火幣 Prime?背後有那些淵源?

Ana Andria:We are very pleased with Huobi Prime - the platform's reputation speaks for itself - this will also give us a lot of visibility in a country we are very interested to see our project grow at, which is China.

Moreover, we believe China is core for Polkadot's adoption as well, and Huobi plays a major role in adoption.

火幣在中國的聲望不言而喻,這會讓我們在中國獲得大量的知名度,中國是我們非常感興趣的國家,我們也希望在這個國家看到Akropolis專案得到長足發展。

另外,我們相信中國是波卡Polkadot應用的重點,也相信火幣將在其中發揮重要作用。

博鏈財經:對於此次登陸火幣 Prime,Akropolis有哪些期待和目標?

Ana Andria:We hope we can do a fair and wide token distribution, as this is core to our project's aims.

Crowdfunding to distribute tokens more widely was always in our roadmap - we want people to be able to use AKRO to vote, stake and grow within our network.

We hope that a large number of people interested in taking active part in decentralized finances and form their own AFOs will join us, and by getting AKRO, participate in the network and take control of their financial future.

Akropolis的目標是讓代幣Token的分發儘可能的公平和廣泛。

透過眾籌來更大範圍地分發Token一直存在於專案路線圖中,我們希望使用者能夠在網路中使用AKRO進行投票、質押等來似的網路不斷成長。

我們希望大部分有興趣加入到去中心化金融DeFi並組建了自己的AFO的人們可以加入我們,透過獲得AKRO通證來參與到網路建設中,並在未來能保管他們自己的資產。

博鏈財經:未來,Akropolis還會有那些佈局和發展規劃?

Ana Andria:Brief of our overall plan for the near future:

1) onboard first users to our MVP launched on top of Ethereum

2) Upgrade it according to feedback, provided by users

3) Proceed our collaboration activities with mutuals/cooperative networks/informal savings groups that we started before to onboard more users

4) Build Akropolis on top of the Polkadot, including development of Akro Chain

5) Build core services for Polkadot ecosystem - Polkahub and Polkanames and contribute into Polkadot ecosystem by testing and acting as validators

6) Make marketing campaign and more public speaking/content publishing activities to educate community about Akropolis

對於不久的將來,我們有如下計劃:

1)對於已在以太坊上釋出的MVP,我們將會公開第一批使用者;

2)根據使用者的反饋內容來更新;

3)在我們引導更多使用者加入網路前,推進與多方互助/合作網路、非正式儲蓄機構的合作;

4)在波卡上搭建Akropolis,包括Akro鏈的開發;

5)為波卡生態系統構建核心服務—Polkahub和Polkanames。透過成為驗證者和參加網路測試來為波卡生態系統做出貢獻;

6)開展市場營銷,推動更多的公開演講和內容釋出等活動,以便社羣能夠更加了解Akropolis。
